NYC now demanding the proof of vaccination for those who wants to go to restaurants , gyms , museums and other indoor venues. Because of the safety of the country , they are doing this. NYC is trying to prevent the corona virus from every angle  . People who went to gyms, restaurant , they had to provide proof that they have taken at-least first dose of vaccine.

They have started this rule from August 17 . NYC restaurants , health club pr health spa , amusement centers , casino centers and in concerts made this rule . It is mandatory for both employees and guests who are 12 years old or older than this . People have to give evidence that they have got their first dose of covid vaccine. This  rule has been made because of the corona virus infection rate is increasing in the country .

Indication on the main entrance as well as on the windows of the Queens diner alerts guests or visitors who are coming for meal that they have to provide evidence that they have taken at-least one dose of covid vaccine and this will give permission to eat them inside. People are astonished by this new rule . Many of them do not know that they need to carry the vaccine record card with them . If they show the soft copy or hard copy of the proof , then they can get access to visit restaurant , gyms , museums and many other indoor venues.

Two weeks earlier , Mayor Bill De Blasio declares about the vaccine mandate and their intention is to get as many people  as possible to be vaccinated. Otherwise , they will miss out going out , enjoying live concerts , going to restaurants or any other indoor venues . Many people are affecting with the delta virus which is really very dangerous . That is why NYC have given so much importance to the vaccine mandate .

This new rules are the integral section of the city’s most recent strategy to restrict the corona virus outbreak . This pandemic has destroyed the city’s economy . Recently , Delta virus are spreading very quickly and many people have been hospitalized due to delta virus attack . So ,  Mayor Bill De Blasio  is wishing that the new rules can convince more people to get vaccinated .

The procedures are also filled with obstacles , because the eatery houses waiters , barkeepers become the leading or front line workers for vaccination order. Many of them can lie in such cases but if they do so , then shutdown can occur again which is not very helpful for us. Many restaurants , bars are welcoming the mandates as a way to restrict the corona virus and their door remains open.

Others , specifically in a sector of the city where people have refused taking the vaccine . It is really a matter of concern . This can affect directly on the business. This can do a lot of damage into the business .

On a press conference , Mayor Bill De Blasio said that they do not wish to return to restriction . Their prime intention is to progress vaccination.

Following the city’s data , above 300,000 people have taken first dose of vaccine . Beside this , of the city’s 8 million people minimum 5.2 million people have got their first dose of vaccine .

The amount of public taking shots has marked once again in the city because of the highly infectious delta variant . Because of the delta variant people are suffering highly and getting hospitalized.

Delta variant is spreading the risk , so some cities , nations and local Government have made a move more determinedly to take more public vaccinated or have them for constant testing . They are doing everything to stop the death .

As NYC invented this statement ,  San Francisco as well as New Orleans accepts the proceedings along with strategies to eliminate the non-vaccinated from businesses . Los Angles is also taking this into consideration . Everyone is considering it and implementing it so that they can bring safety into their business.

From Tuesday , New York city’s new rules have been accomplished. But there is a fact that it will not start punish by fining businesses which do not obey or follow this new rules till September 13 , they are providing a forgiveness period for better enforcement or better outcome.

On Tuesday , Modern art Museum was not asking the guests or visitors for the proof of vaccination . They were not forcing to the clients to show the the proof . A ticket seller told that he did not know when this new rule would start.

All people should be vaccinated as fast as possible and this is the ultimate reason for this new rule . Though , it is a little bit troublesome but they are doing this because of the safety . In an urgent situation , sometimes they ( Government ) have to take forceful course of action or system.

On Tuesday , $10 million media blitz was also starting as portion of the city’s guest outreach . The mayor declared that about 100 vaccination area will appear at similar location as health club or gyms and the city would deliver above 600  representatives to help out. From September , the mandate will be completely launched from September.

Executive Director of NYC hospitality Mr Andrew Rigie told that behind the attempt, his group is entirely involved.

Many organization’s owner said that this actions are required to prevent the corona virus . Covid is a huge issue for all of us. And they said that they will do everything to set everything alright like before.

Indoor dining means or it consists of bar , cafeteria , coffee shop , inn , schools , college and universities canteen , shopping center , businesses that supplies food , food store . This rule is applicable for those who loves to eat outside and go to a place where crowds are present .

Recreational Activities includes movie house , live concerts , casinos , party centers , museums , art gallery , national zoo , parks , pool centers , game center etc .

Health club or gyms means not only the local gym center . It also includes the  hotel’s and mall’s gym center , yoga center , tennis center , boxing center also.

Who needs to display the proof of vaccination ?

NYC made this new rule for those who wants to go a place where many people arrives . Working employees , volunteers , contractual employees, part time employees and full time employees, interns as well have to show the proof of vaccination . Clients or guests who arrives hotel or restaurant for meeting or eating , they need to show the vaccination record card . Members also need to show the proof of vaccination.

Who are free from this new rule :

• Those under the age of 12 , they are free from this new rule .
• Those who are doing stage show , professional players and their group while in a covered place to present their work . They need not to show the proof of vaccination if they are not the citizen of New York City . But that does not mean that they are free from wearing mask and other protection . They have to wear safety mask so that they can save themselves from corona virus .

Which proof are allowable :

To show a digital evidence of vaccination , one should visit the excelsior pass web portal , reply some questions to validate the vaccine details. After this print the paper or simply you can keep a soft copy of it in your smart phone .

Evidence of vaccination can also be saved on smartphone’s application . You can find it on Google play store if you are using android phone . If you are using ios then you can find it on apple store  .

Also , people can use CDC ( Centers For Disease Control And Prevention Vaccination Card ) proof and they can show the hard copy or soft copy of the photo as an evidence . Also , one can go to NYC vaccination record as a proof of vaccination . People can speak to NYC’s Health unit and can get the vaccination record from there.

Covered businesses should confirm that the recognition or identification of the persons 18 years old or more than this that confirms the evidence of vaccination . You can keep a Photocopy of the documents or keep a soft copy of the document in your phone .

More or less this decision is really very helpful to prevent the deadly virus . And people should appreciate this rule , even though sometimes it is annoying and troublesome .
